This beach was one the first developments in the northern end of the Nicoya peninsula.
Recently developed condos and gringo owned houses dot the landscape.
There is a
beautiful white-sand beach and plenty of good tourist accommodations, entertainment
and tourism.

The old fishing village is no longer - this is now a very developed
resort area for well heeled fishermen (the other kind).
A good place to
take some time off "at the beach" in the neo- tropics.
