An Insight into Guacimo

"But it IS on the ICT map"

Frankly there are not too many tourist attractions in Guacimo. The best we can say is you are quite likely to pass through it on your way to and from the Caribbean coast.

I do believe we stopped there a couple of years back for a very tasty roadside lunch - great place for lunch. The ICT (official tourist board of Costa Rica) says absolutely nothing here: at the Guacimo page.
