An Insight into La Paz Waterfall Gardens.
30km up hill from Pura Vida Hotel with over 3.5 kilometers of walking
trails, a minimum of 1 1/2 hours is recommended for the trip. Waterfall
Gardens is a primarily a self-guided tour. The facility includes a huge
butterfly garden (the Blue Morpho in flight is an amazing sight), a
hummingbird garden, the famous waterfalls, an orchid house and plenty of
trails. This place is a great visit - a little pricey maybe but if you
are going to do Poas Volcano it is pretty close for your second stop of
the day. We have a loop that makes a great day trip continuing on to
Sarapiqui and maybe a short trip on the river before returning.
