An Insight into Orotina

"From La Colina"

Mangos, melons, water melons, cachous and many fruits are an integral part of the life in this village and growing center. For mango aficionados Orotina should be a pilgrimage in March, April of May at the height of the mango season here.

You can visit The Turu ba ri Park near which bills itself as "an innovative conservation project" - they also have a superman ride we'd rather do without. Orotina is a great place to buy fruits - perhaps the best? Orotina now has it's own web site put up by some enterprising local at http://www.dreamworld.org/orotina/
