An Insight into Puerto Caldera

Puerto Caldera is where the cruise ships land - there is not much else there except the port
itself and a few kilometers up the road, the hot port town of Puntarenas in one direction
and the surfing town of Jaco in the other. There
are very few ameneties near and most people take a shuttle or taxi in and out of Caldera.
