An Insight into Tamarindo

"From La Colina"

This was a former fishing village that has grown up into a major resort for "gringo" tourism. Near bye you will find areas for prime wildlife viewing, excellent beaches, surfing action and a wide choice of accommodations. While in Tamarindo for a few days you will want to visit the Playa Grande Marine Turtle National Park and Tamarindo National Wildlife Refuge. Make sure you visit their local "mystery spot" for lunch. Ask at the Villa Alegre for directions.
